September 15, 2020 @ 5:30 pm 7:30 pm MDT

Two-At-A-Time SocksOur Two-At-A-Time Socks knit-along is just in time for cooler weather.   Cuff-down or toe-up, two circular needles or magic loop, we will handle it all!  You’ll have the option of using Mary Walker’s basic sock pattern.  It incorporates Judi’s Magic Cast-on, the Fish Lips Kiss Heel, and Jenn’s Surprisingly Stretchy Cast-off.  Other methods will definitely be open for exploration with Two-At-A-Time Socks!  We are fearless.

The Two-At-A-Time Socks knit-along will help you avoid the scourge of Single Sock Syndrome, which occurs when you’ve finished a sock on double-points, but never manage to get that second sock done!  You’ll wonder why you haven’t done it before.  Socks are a great portable project, and they’re also a good warm weather project because they are small.

To participate in the Two-At-A-Time Socks knit-along, you’ll need:

  • about four ounces of sock yarn wound into two approximately equal balls
  • 2 24″ circular needles size 1 or 1.5 or 1 40″ size 1 or 1.5 circular needle (if you’re using the magic loop).

We will discuss the relative merits of the different methods at our first meeting.

That’s it!  Just sign up for your free ticket and join the Zoom meeting.  Give Two-At-A-Time Socks a try.  There’s nothing more luxurious than handknit socks!  Advanced beginners and intermediate knitters will enjoy this knit-along.
