Padauk Batten by Ken Begay

Ken Begay selected the African hardwood Padauk for this batten.  It’s a beautiful wood but difficult to work with and we seldom have a batten made with it.  Like all of Ken’s battens, this one tapers to at each end to help ensure that your weaving is flawless.  Expect the red color to deepen with time and use.
