A weaver’s fork is a critical tool, it becomes part of the weaver’s hand. Ferlin Nez carves each of his forks by hand at his home near Red Valley, Arizona, near the Four Corners. Ferlin’s forks resemble those made in the 19th and early 20th century. They are one of a kind and unique. Carved from solid oak.
The fork is 10 inches long, 1.5 inches wide and ..5 inches thick. It weighs 2.8 ounces. It has thick teeth that make it a good choice for heavier warps and wefts.
