Worsted Rug Warp by Jaggerspun: Simply the Best

This is the strongest wool warp that we are currently able to stock.  It is spun in Maine by Jaggerspun.  Stretching is minimal.  The two-ply warp is good for small rugs, mats, and conventional tapestry.  We suggest the three-ply for floor rugs and the four-ply for saddle blankets and large hanging pieces that can be damaged by their own weight.

We suggest the two-ply worsted rug warp for pieces all pieces under 2’x3′.  The three-ply is great for rugs that are going on the floor and 4 out of 5 horses prefer the four-ply for those heavy saddle blankets and saddle cinches.  The four-ply is your go-to for any large, heavy piece where the ability of the warp to support the weight of the weaving is crucial.  This warp is a favorite with some of the top weavers who shop with us.
