Yarn Shuttle Sticks- Kyle Sandoval
$54.00
Description
A yarn stick shuttle is a simple weaving tool, typically a flat, narrow piece of wood with notches at both ends to hold the yarn. This design allows the weaver to pass the yarn through the warp threads on a loom, especially on rigid heddle or table looms with narrow sheds. It is considered the most basic type of shuttle and is commonly used for hand-passing the yarn through the shed rather than throwing it across the warp.
This shuttle is ultra special. A local Navajo tool maker makes them.
