Description
Introducing the Gallup Socker League Sock Pattern! Mary Walker says she has this sock pattern tattooed on her brain. She knits it with no instructions in front of her. The texture comes from an easy-to-remember four-stitch repeat pattern that is plain knitting 75% of the time. Mary uses the Fish Lips Kiss Heel.
The free pattern is for a medium-sized sock, but you can easily modify it for a smaller or larger size. The pattern includes the instructions for knitting the sock top-down or toe-up. Mary knits these two at a time on two circulars, but magic loop or double-point needles will work fine!
The pattern is free. Just click on the pattern link below, and it should open in your browser so that you can download it. Mary used Madelinetosh Twist Light Dancing on Ice for the socks in the picture.
The pattern hasn’t been test-knitted or edited rigorously, so if you find errors, please let us know.
